Further to this attainment, The Auditor General was pleased to announce and congratulate one of his staff, namely Mrs. Sandra Garae, who was awarded to be a qualified accountant. Mr. Caleb Sandy, stated that when he first entered the role as Auditor General, one of his first addresses to the VNAO staff was to uplift the proficiency and expertise level of the VNAO through enhancing its staff merit. Three years after he spoke those words Mrs. Sandra Garae was awarded to be a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA). After enrolling and completing a full program of Study with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) supported AND initiated by the GFG, Mrs. Sandra Garae is now the first ever Ni-Vanuatu to become a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants.
